The short version

We collect the minimum data needed to make Sayso work. We don't sell your data, don't run analytics, and don't track you. Your audio is never stored.

Audio

When you record, your audio is sent to our API for transcription. It's processed in real time and immediately discarded. We do not store audio files on any server.

Transcriptions

Your transcribed text is stored in your account so you can access your history. Transcriptions are automatically deleted after 30 days. You can also delete them manually at any time from the app.

Account data

We store your email, name, and plan type. This is used for authentication and managing your subscription. That's it.

Third parties

We use AI services to process your audio and enhance transcriptions. Your data is sent to these services only for processing and is not stored or used for training by them.

Permissions

Sayso requires microphone access to record your voice. We don't access any other data on your device.
